Instead, you are equipped with a flashlight, a system of security cameras, and an empty Freddy Fazbear head to fool the animatronics. How to Play Five Nights at Freddy's 2

Your primary objective is to survive from midnight to 6 a.m. for five consecutive nights. Gameplay involves managing three main entry points to your office: a central hallway and two side air vents. You must constantly check the security cameras to track the animatronics' movements. If an animatronic appears in your office, you must immediately put on the Freddy mask to trick it into leaving. Additionally, you need to use your flashlight to ward off certain threats in the hallway and regularly wind up a music box to keep a specific animatronic at bay.

Success in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 requires multitasking and a solid routine. A common strategy is to immediately wind the music box for a few seconds, then check the hallway and vents with your light, and repeat. Only use the monitor when necessary to wind the music box, as it leaves you vulnerable. Learn the distinct audio cues that signal an animatronic is in a vent or hallway. Acting quickly and instinctively putting on the mask is critical for survival in this challenging horror game.
